First things first – survey winners! Two additional winners have been drawn at random from the participants, and have been contacted through email to claim either our Complete DM’s Bundle for Baldur’s Gate: Descent into Avernus or 15$ credit on the dmsguild.com. The survey’s closed now – a big thank you to everyone who participated, your valuable input will be put to good use in the future.
Which brings us to the second point of this post: the future. 2019 was a crazy, tough, but ultimately awesome year for Valeur RPG – the DM’s resources for Waterdeep: Dragon Heist, Ghosts of Saltmarsh and Baldur’s Gate: Descent into Avernus have been received better than I could’ve ever imagined, and have consistently been some of the top-sellers in their respective categories. Considering the blood, sweat and tears that have been poured into those resources, what that means to me can’t be overstated.
Not just because it’s awesome to see people getting real benefit from the DM’s resources, but also because it allows me to invest more time, energy and money into pursuing my passion – creating quality content for roleplaying games. To put in the time necessary to continually improve, try out new things and seek out new opportunities. I have a bunch of ideas, some of them realistic, most probably not, that I hope to show you in the coming year.
More immediately, I also have an ambition to do more with ValeurRPG.com. Post more often, more consistently, and about a wider array of D&D and RPG-related topics. Publish more bonus content – such as free encounter maps, handouts and so on – and test out new and alternative ideas and content.
If you want to come along for the ride, you can follow the blog by clicking the link in the sidebar. And, if you have any good ideas, suggestions, requests, questions, or just want to say hi, don’t be afraid to shoot me an email at valeurrpg@gmail.com.
Anyway, here’s to a new year – indeed, an entire decade – hopefully filled with great games and even greater friends. Don’t forget – it’s all about having fun.
